Wiki Loves Pride is an International Photo competition that aims to make queer culture more visible in the digital space and document Pride Month in Ireland. We are delighted to announce our amazing panel of judges who will be helping us select the winners of this year’s contest.
Wiki Loves Pride is open until August 31st to amateur and professional photographers alike! We are inviting you to document and celebrate queer life, past and present. Whether it’s a bustling Pride parade or a historic queer landmark, your photos help bring visibility to LGBTQI+ lives and stories on Wikimedia projects like Wikipedia and Vicipéid.

Sara R Philips is a human rights activist, community leader and historian. Sara is the Co-chair of Transgender Europe and Central Asia, a board member of the International Transfund and founder of the Irish Trans Archive. Her work has been instrumental in preserving Irish Trans history and advocating for justice and visibility. Find out more here.

Is léachtóir sa Nua-Ghaeilge é Jamie i Scoil na Gaeilge, an Léinn Cheiltigh agus an Bhéaloidis sa Choláiste Ollscoile, Baile Átha Cliath. Tá PhD aige i réimse na drámaíochta agus an aistriúcháin, agus mar réimse taighde, pléann sé le cúrsaí téarmeolaíochta, léann an aistriúcháin agus an drámaíocht. Tá sé mar stiúrthóir ar an meitheal téarmaíochta atá mar chuid de AerachAiteachGaelach (AAG).
Jamie is a lecturer in Modern Irish in the School of Irish, Celtic Studies and Folklore at University College Dublin. He holds a PhD in drama and translation, and his research interests include terminology, translation studies and drama. He is the director of the terminology group which is part of AerachAiteachGaelach (AAG).

Irish DJ, LGBT+ Activist, Founder of the Irish Queer Archive
Tonie Walsh is an LGBT rights activist, journalist, disc jockey, founding editor of Gay Community News (Dublin) and founder of the Irish Queer Archive. Based between Dublin and Antalya, Turkey, Walsh continues to independently curate the Irish Queer Archive (now held in NLI) and hosts regular walking tours.
