As part of the international Wiki Loves Pride initiative, Wikimedia Community Ireland and The Outhouse are celebrating LGBTQ history and culture on Wikipedia.

All you need to take part is a laptop to take part!

An editing workshop or editathon is a hands-on event in which participants can learn how to start editing Wikipedia. The aim is to make Wikipedia inclusive and reflect diversity by creating content on the LGBT discourse: history, culture, rights, equal opportunities. This event aims to bring new and existing Wikipedia users of various sexual orientations, gender identities, geographic locations, and personal backgrounds together to discuss and collaborate on coverage of LGBTQ content across Wikipedia.

To prepare do CREATE A WIKIPEDIA ACCOUNT (if you don’t already have one). Very few details are needed: a username, password, and we recommend giving your email, if only to be reminded of your password when you forget it.
